What does LEDC and MEDC mean?

LEDC =less economically developed country

MEDC = more economically developed country

A list of ledc and medc countries is as like as below:

Less economically developed countries are: Africa, most of Asia, Ethiopia and Uganda
More economically developed countries are: America, Cuba, Great Britain and most of the United Nation countries.
