What are the two buttons for near the shifter on the 2000 Jaguar XK8?

I've researched the answer and found that one button, which has a little icon that looks like a speedometer on it is for cruise control. The other button, which has an "S" on it, is for "Sport Mode", which causes you engine to rev a bit higher in each gear, spending more gas, but giving a faster acceleration.
