I bought the faucet set and the plumber took 2 hours and charged me $180 for labor and $50 for the parts to make the new faucet set fit. I was flabergasted at thte price. thought it would be about $100. But it will last for 20 years and it is the one that I want so I am going to be quiet and be happy.
$150 -$175 per hr for a licensed plumber plus partsMany morons hire someone who claims to be a "plumber" or an electrican or a doctor without having any formal training or a license for the profession.A legitimate plumber will have either a journeyman's card and they work for a master or the master plumber will do the actual work
The licensed plumber will also have insurance and know the true cost of doing business.
I paid one of my employees over $100 PER HR so it would be darn near impossible for me to charge $80 per hr unless I like to lose money for a tax write off
You get what you pay for
