Do kiwis stay with there mate forever?

Kiwi birds are generally monogamous and may form long-term pair bonds, often staying with the same mate for several breeding seasons. However, they do not necessarily mate for life, as environmental factors and individual circumstances can lead to changes in pairing. After the breeding season, they often go their separate ways, but they tend to reunite during the next mating season.
