Do bees kill more people than snakes?

Yes they do ! It's actually quite a rarity for people to come into contact with snakes in their natural habitat. Bees, however, can be highly defensive of their hive, and certain strains are known to be highly aggressive. People are more likely to be allergic to bee-stings than snake venom.
