What books are like the Twilight series?

The Vampire Diaries are like Twilight and other vampire books include the Marked series and the Vampire Academy series. I've also found books by Charlaine Harris good. The TV show on HBO "True Blood" is based on them. It's more for adults though- lots more blood and a few sexy scenes. If you're into Twilight then I suggest giving this a go. The first book is called Dead Until Dark. Other good authors of vampire books include Christine Feehan, Laurel K Hamilton, Anne Rice, Tanya Huff (who's books created the TV show 'Blood Ties') and Lynsay Sands, with the Argeneau series.
