William Moore and Co. was a trade name used on shotguns manufactured by Henri Pieper of Liege, Belgium (1866-1898), Societe Anonme Establissments Pieper (1898-1907) or Anciens Establissments Pieper (1907-1930's) and imported by H. & D. Folsom Arms Company of New York for sale to the sporting goods, hardware and mail order trade.

Barrels of Pieper shotguns carrying the William Moore name were marked Belgium Laminated Steel, Belgian Royal Damascus, London Laminated Steel, etc. None of these barrels are safe to use with modern ammunition.

There was also a William Moore and Co. of London, England that produced shotguns in the period 1853-1895, however, his shotguns will be marked 43 Old Bond Street, London on the top barrel rib and are manufactured to a higher quality and ornamentation than the Pieper trade guns
