Your car gives out smoke when accelerated hard?

my guess would be the rings (on the piston inside the motor) are worn past the point of being able to keep the oil out of the combution chamber. Try changing the oil and going with a higher grade (maybe 10w-40) for example or replace one quart of oil with lucas oil stabilzer
