Does the song 10 Years Today from Bullet For My Valentine really talks about Matt Tuck's friend who killed himself?

! Many people associate the song with the ex-bassist Nick Crowley and assume that because he's the ex-bassist he's dead. Nick is now alive and living his life with his family. The song 10 years today is NOT based on any of Matt's friends killing themselves, to my knowledge. But if they were to make a song about a friend killingthemselves, it would probably be acoustic and that way more emotional and heartfelt, and probably wouldn't have guitar solos through out him talking about his dead friend!
