How do you keep dead owl for long lasting?

First you would wrap up the body in newspaper and keep it cool, but DO NOT freeze it. Get it to a taxidermist (normally stuffing hunting trophies) within 3 days. They will then prepare the body and stuff it, mounting it in any position you request. Once they are finished with it, they will be able to give care instructions that will help to make the owl last as long as possible.
