A pregnancy test can be taken from two weeks after you last had sex.

Typically even if you conceive on the day that you have sex it takes 6-10 days for a fertilized egg to implant itself before you're pregnant, and for hormones to reach a high enough level to be detectable. Otherwise you may notice bodily changes such as missing your next menstrual period.
