Do you get sin for not praying sunnah?

In Islamic teachings, Sunnah prayers are highly recommended and carry great reward, but they are not obligatory. Therefore, not performing Sunnah prayers does not incur sin, as they are considered voluntary acts of worship. However, regularly engaging in Sunnah prayers is encouraged for spiritual growth and to earn additional blessings. Ultimately, the intention and effort to seek closeness to Allah are what matter most.
