What is the deference between onshore and offshore production?

I assume you mean "difference" and not "deference".

Onshore means on dry land. Offshore means out in the water. Offshore drilling is out in the water, like in the Gulf of Mexico. Onshore drilling means on land, like in Wyoming and Texas.
