Can a 1988 Chevrolet V6 interchange with a V8?

If it's a truck with a 4.3 the bellhousing pattern is the same,most of the front accessories will interchange also.

You will need a bigger radiator,different fan shroud,exhaust manifolds,motor mounts and the wiring will need to be lengthened to the front accessories(alt,a/c)
