How does the body use electrolytes to regulate fluid balance?

The kidneys regulate the amount of

electrolytes present in the body fluids by means of various

hormones like ADH(vasopressin), ACTH etc. This regulates the fluid

concentration by adding or absorbing sodium & potassium ions as

required.
