How long did Mr. obama live with his father?

By most accounts, the president's father only lived with his wife and son during the first year or so of young Barack's life. President Obama has written about his vague memories of his dad, which were basically shaped by his father's brief visit (one month) when young Barack was ten years old. Other than that, he never saw his biological father.
