How many bombs could the Avro Lancaster bomber hold?

The Lancaster could carry the heaviest bomb load of any bomber in WW2. A common load for long range was 14 x 1,000 pound HE bombs. On special occasions they often carried the RAF's largest bomb, the 22,000 pound 'Grand Slam' bunker buster.
