How do you replace the cigaret lighter 0n a 1999 chev cavalier?

First, gain access to the back of the socket.

Unplug the wiring connector to the socket.

From the back, unscrew the sleeve holding the socket in place.

From the front, pull the socket out.

Reverse procedure to install unit.

Oops, I thought you wanted a procedure for replacing the lighter socket. To replace the lighter itself, just pull it out and push a new one in.
