The Wollemi pine (Wollemia nobilis) can grow to heights of 30 to 50 meters (about 98 to 164 feet) in its natural habitat. Its trunk can reach a diameter of up to 1.5 meters (about 5 feet). This ancient tree species is known for its distinctive, tiered branches and feathery foliage. Due to its rarity, the Wollemi pine is often referred to as a "living fossil."
