Nathan B. Stubblefield was born on November 18, 1860, in Murray, Kentucky, and he later lived in the nearby town of Clarksville, Tennessee. He was an inventor and is best known for his work in wireless communication during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Stubblefield died on January 28, 1928, in Clarksville, where he spent much of his life developing his inventions.
