Why should you develop an attitude of volunteerism?

Since volunteers do jobs without wages or pay, they are doing a favor to their community to start with. They aren't doing it to earn money, they're basically doing it from the goodness of their heart. They want to help the community by cleaning it restoring it and many more things. Volunteers are vital to the growth and prospering of a well hearted community.
