You know your o2 sensor needs to be replaced would that cause your suburban to miss and jerk?

No it would not. You need to check the plug wires and the plugs. Depending on the year of the truck makes a difference, If it's a 2000 or newer it will have a coil for every cylinder, one of the coils could be brakeing down. Water in the fuel can cause your problem too. I would check these things first.
