Invertebrates make up about 95% of the total number of species; the remaining 5% are vertebrates

yes there are definetly more inverdibrates especialy considering how many insects there are and microorganisms the name for how many animals in a biome or area is called biodiversity in case you are doing a project so if you would like to find the biodiversity of a biome now you know what to look for.
There are more species of invertebrates than vertebrates. About 97% of all animal species are invertebrates.
