Why do the cherries when small keep falling off my tree?

it may be part of a natural phenomena called June drop, commercial trees bloom in excess and when too much pollination takes place the tree thins out the fruit it cant bear. if the tree is weel watered and fertilized with no apparent sickness this is likely the reason.
