Is it safe to take steroids and antibiotics together?

If the doctor prescribes both, it would be wise to take/use both. For instance, I was recently diagnosed with iritis and an inflamed cornea (eye problems). My opthamologists prescribed both a steroid and an antibiotic to treat my ailments. Thus, there is nothing categorically wrong with taking both at the same time. Of course, whether using/taking both is appropriate will be vary dependent upon your individual circumstances.
