Where do flesh flies live?

Flesh flies, belonging to the family Sarcophagidae, are commonly found in a variety of environments, particularly in areas with decaying organic matter. They thrive in locations where they can access decomposing animal remains, carrion, and waste, as these serve as breeding sites for their larvae. Flesh flies are often encountered in urban areas, farms, and forests, as well as near garbage and compost piles. Their presence is most prominent in warm and humid climates, which facilitate their life cycle.
