What month do bar-tailed godwits breed?

Bar-tailed godwits typically breed during May and June. They establish their nests in the tundra regions of Alaska and Siberia, where they lay their eggs in early to mid-June. After breeding, they migrate to their wintering grounds in the Southern Hemisphere, primarily in New Zealand and Australia.
