It would depend on the cruise line, the size of the ship and the captains experience. it could range from a nice 3500 dollars to a good 7000. its requirement includes five to eight years of experience in subordinate position on board with a background in all navigational equipment is required along with a Captain's license, certification from a maritime government body and diploma from an accredited maritime training facility.
