Many bats eat insects, others specialize on fruit and nectar (a bat is responsible for pollinating the Agave plant- that is used to produce tequila!), but bats have been known to eat:
insects, fruit, nectar, frogs, fish, other small mammals (such as bats)-rarely, and birds (on RARE occasions) and a few species in central and South America drink blood.
