Why catholic church strongly oppose the writings of Jose Rizal?

Because Dr. Jose Rizal knows that the catholic church is wrongly enough the way they teach people in worshiping God so they strongly oppose the writings of Dr. Jose Rizal.Secondly they don't wanted him teaching the Pilipino people in a right way on worshiping God.
