What is the term or correct name for green turquoise?

Green turquoise can be actual turquoise; Nevada produces shades of green.

The term is also sometimes applied to variscite, but this is nonsensical, foolish, and misleading, as variscite is a beautiful and valued gem that needs no other name. Sadly, the jewelry trade is rife with such idiocy; eg. red emerald and green amethyst.
