Huang Rong was more powerful then because during the kung fu wedding contest with Yang Kang (Yang Tie Xin's biological son) and Mu Nian Ci, Yang Kang was more powerful than his father. When Yang Kang fought with Guo Jing, Guo Jing was more powerful. Huang Rong was more powerful than Guo Jing when this happened, so this proves that Huang Rong is more powerful than Yang Tie Xin (Yang Kang's father).
