What is the mood of the Lion the Witch And The Wardrobe?

In this book the reader enters into a magical world of giants, fauns, dwarfs, and witches. This world is controlled by and evil witch and 4 children are brought from our world to end the witches reign. One of the 4 children betrays the other three and joins the side of the witch.

The essential idea is that the need for redemption of a world affected by sin and evil is provided by death of God to save a traitor and God's subsequent resurrection and triumph.
