How far can can lemur jump?

• There are numerousspeciesof lemurs, but the

  largest living lemur is the Indri (

  Indri indri)

  of the montane forests of eastern Madagascar that

  use their elongated, posterior legs to propel themselves into the air up to 10 m (33 ft) from tree limb to tree limb. But each lemur species is distinctive in their leaping capabilities.
