To install the cabin filter on a 2005 Acura MDX, first, locate the glove compartment and empty its contents. Next, gently press in on the sides of the glove compartment to release it from its hinges and lower it down. Remove the cover panel behind the glove compartment by unclipping it, then slide out the old cabin filter. Insert the new filter, ensuring it is oriented correctly, reattach the cover, and lift the glove compartment back into place.
