Why was ranofer suspicious of ibni?

Ranofer was suspicious of Ibni because he noticed that Ibni had been sneaking around the goldsmith shop at night and seemed to be hiding something. Ranofer also found evidence that Ibni was stealing gold from the shop, which fueled his suspicions further.
