Why won't my iPod charger work?

iPods have a lithium-ion battery that only recharges up to around 1000 cycles. It is a weak battery that won't last forever. If your iPod is an older model, it is possible that the battery needs to be replaced. If your iPod is fairly new, there might be a connection problem due to a manufacturer defect. Take it into the Apple store to get the problem resolved.
