Marketing Research simply defined as "The systematic gathering, recording and analyzing of data with respect to a particular market, where market refers to a specific user group in a specific geographic area."
The only purpose marketing research serves is in Market Development.
And market development is expanding the total market served by 1) entering new segments, 2) converting nonusers, 3) increasing use by present users.
So in order to plan/ prepare and execute marketing strategy we need to consider marketing research.
In current market position, as buyers and users are more active in knowing all options available and how to reach seller/ service provider or contact them.
So including market research in planning marketing will save us time to cover unnecessary means of marketing saving us money and time at the same time.
