Is it fun to become a veterinarian?

There are fun parts of vet school, including socializing with classmates and learning interesting and useful skills. There are also some very not fun parts, including the exams, the stress of your first live surgery, working on animals you don't want to treat in practice, etc.

Like most career paths, if the fun/good/exciting outweighs the bad/boring/stressful, you'll mostly remember it as being fun.
