Rajam was the new manace in mani's life.mani was the overlord of the class but rajam's tidy dress,well maners and wonderfull speaking ability impressed everyone even swaminathon.
to teach a good lesson to rajam mani invited rajam for a fight.but rajam overpowerd mani as he brought an airgun with him and threatened mani to shoot. Mani was in a shamefull condition . Then rajam stretched out his hands for friendship and mani accepted it readily. Thus the long ill feeling turned to friendship.
