Can you use baby toothpaste on dogs?

You should not use baby toothpaste on a dog. Many of them contain one or more chemicals that could be toxic to dogs.

There are special toothpastes available at most pet stores and veterinarians specifically formulated for dogs. I use one called BreathaLyser using a soft toothbrush. If your pet does not react well to a toothbrush, try using your finger instead.
