small turtle? this is very broad area, but Yes to water turtles, most young water turtle eat anything they can get a hold of, from here itt will divide in to the different families of water turtles, -Snapper, they eat fish all their life
-Sliders, as they get older they tend to eat more plants and scavenge for dead flesh.
-Mud turtles, are scavengers with a vengeance, if hungry enough a mud turtle will float in the logs and wait for a large fish to park under it, then drift to the back and break it with one bit, then drop to the floor of the lake / river and wait until other fish tear it apart, thus creating its own scavenger hunt. I watch one do this to my poor Gulf Kellies fish
