What does it mean if you have to pee but can't?

Your insides arent working and you need to see a doctor immeditly if you can not pee.I hope I helped because when this happened to me i had to go to the hospital and rn test intill they found out there was something wrong with my blatter that it was leaking into my body so i had to get surgery to fix that :(
