When did prince Henrys journeys end?

Prince Henry the Navigator's journeys effectively ended with his death on November 13, 1460. Although he did not personally embark on many voyages, he was instrumental in promoting and sponsoring explorations along the West African coast. His efforts laid the groundwork for future maritime exploration and the Age of Discovery, which continued long after his passing.
