Why might the CD player in a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited not work?

Same reasons why all CD players might not work: lense is dirty or unaligned, its not receiving proper voltage, its broken, the motor is not spinning at proper speed, etc. There are no specifics for it being on a car.
