The character Bluto, known as Popeye's rival, has been voiced by several actors over the years. Notably, the voice of Bluto in the original Popeye cartoon series was provided by the legendary voice actor and animator, Gus Wickie. Later, in the 1980s animated series, the role was taken on by actor and voice artist, Paul Dooley. Additionally, in the 1980 live-action film "Popeye," Bluto was portrayed by actor Paul L. Smith.
