How do you replace a heater matrix on a Peugeot 406?

not an expensive job to do. part cost about £10 but apparently it is an awkard job as a part of the dash on passengers side needs removing to get in at it. how do you remove a heater motor from a Peugeot 406 do you have to remove the full dashboard or just the glove compartment
