What are meteorite pieces in Spider-Man 3?

I found a link to a web site were you can see the map in spider man 3 and the emblems are marked in green and there are 50 marks.. and the meteorites are marked in red but there's only 60 meteorite marked.. :/ but good look finding them.. if you have some questions just ask.. :D
