Deprivation is never having something, removal is having it for a time and then removing it. ===ANOTHER ANSWER=== I'M NOT SURE in what context you ask this question, but if it deals with raising/disciplining a yougster I'll try and answer. DEPRIVATION is the act of depriving someone of a certain thing; it could be clothes, food, toys, affection etc... When you deprive someone of something, generally they never get it. REMOVAL is the act of removing something from someone to get their attention, or to express the idea that they don't deserve it at the present time..With deprivation, they don't have it and probaly won't get it. With removal, something is "taken away", but after a certain time, they can "earn it" back by exhibiting a certain behavior.
