A tow truck is a vehicle that is generally used to transport a car or motorcycle that has broken down, to a designation where it can be repaired. There are larger trucks that used for heavy duty towing like commercial vehicles and smaller tow trucks that are strictly used for personal/smaller vehicle towing.
